In this group, individuals will write creatively using fiction or non-fiction on a topic, theme or idea presented that the group is working on. Participants may choose to share their writing to the group and receive feedback through discussion from the therapist and from the group to move from a problem area to freedom of mind. The group will address thinking processes and maladaptive thinking patterns.

Professional Statement:
I have been a practicing as a therapist since 2004. I provide individual, group, family and couples counseling. I welcome all clients and I use an eclectic approach to therapy, since of course not all clients are dealing with the same issues. I approach each client as an individual. As a therapist, I work with children, adolescents (specifically teens who have struggled with school or quit school and also, teens that may have gotten into trouble with the juvenile justice system), adults, GLBT related issues and concerns, addictions, trauma recovery, families and career counseling.
My specialties are in play therapy; art therapy; narrative therapy; sandtray therapy for adults, children and teens; talk therapy using the following approaches: Humanistic/Existential, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rogerian Therapy, Choice Theory; family therapy, couples therapy, multicultural counseling and related issues and group therapy.
My hours are flexible to meet potential clients' needs regarding their work schedules. I am available during the day, evenings and on Saturdays for sessions. I offer a free face to face or phone consultation to potential clients. All the best to you!?
