| Group Description: |
Enjoy the caring support and insights of other women in a psychospiritual setting.
“Over the last ten years, I’ve been honored and grateful to witness the beautiful transformation that group participants express and embody. I’ve watched dozens of women move through sexual wounding and shame to embrace a more joyful and truth-empowered sexuality. Toward the end of the group, you can actually see differences in the way women occupy their bodies, and in the aliveness and excitement of their being as they reclaim their innate power.”
Beth Apfelbaum, MFT Sexual Healing and Empowerment Group founder and facilitator
In the Sexual Healing and Empowerment Groups, we safely explore and discover:
- The heart of our sexual truths by gently peeling away shame-filled stories;
- A sense of peace and deeply-felt pleasure in our bodies;
- Truth-empowered knowledge to overcome specific—even longstanding—sexual difficulties;
- An ability to tap into our most charged passions and fantasies, for both healing and pleasure;
- An understanding of how to link intimacy, conscious communication and long-term love with truly gratifying sex.
And we typically experience:
- Tremendous validation in hearing our own experiences echoed by others;
- The support and encouragement of other women to move toward a more joyful sexuality;
- Vicarious healing and a sense of possibility as we witness others’ journeys and perspectives;
- The freedom and exhilaration of our own options multiplying beyond constraints previously accepted;
- A more deeply felt sense of power and aliveness in all aspects of our lives.
Women of all sexual orientations and gender identities welcome. Space limited to eight participants.
The group meets in SF on Tuesdays, 6:45 - 8:45pm, for eight consecutive weeks, beginning September 21, 2010 and ending November 9, 2010.
The cost for the entire 8-week group is $380, and a $150 deposit is required to register. Limited discounts are available.
All sessions are held in my office, located in San Francisco's Castro district.
