I am a psychotherapist who specializes in helping people who have experienced being overwhelmed by events and experiences that have shaken their foundations. I help people recover after a crisis. I have been helping people find stability and safety, confidence in themsleves and their ability to cope for over 25 years. I keep up to date with new develpoments in practice and have trained in EMDR, trauma first aide and am a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. This means that I include input from neuro-science in the way that I help people, paying attention to the body and how to help bring individuals into a place of healthy aliveness and peace. I am offer a number of different groups including Mindful Self Compassion.This group is designed to help build your capacity to treat yourself with kindness and compassion. it is 8 weeks long and builds week to week, your ability to have more ease and peace in your life and build better relationships with both yourself and others. It is especially helpful to those people dealing with issues of mild to moderate depression, caregiver fatigue, social anxiety, shame and anger management.
